1/3rd THE SIZE, 1/3rd THE WEIGHT, 3 TIMES THE FLOW
THOMASVILLE, NC: Race Pumps, a new product line from noted innovator Howard Stewart, introduces the first fuel pump designed specifically for the small block Chevy, a “VALVELESS, VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT, PISTON FUEL PUMP”. This patent-pending design has been under development for over 16 years.
The variable displacement design allows the 204 GPH Race Pump to be used on engines from 200 horsepower up to 3,000 horsepower (yes, it truly exceeds the capabilities of the mighty small block). Special seals allow the Race Pump to be used with gasoline or methanol. The unique design produces a constant 4 to 50 PSI with most aftermarket regulators. The unregulated pressure is 60 PSI! The Race Pump is equipped with a -8AN outlet and -8AN or -10AN inlets (both included)
Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet with a hard anodized finish and stainless steel internal parts, the new Race Pump has no diaphragm, no valves, no rocker arm, no block plate, and a o-ringed mounting surface that eliminates the gasket. Durability testing shows no wear after thousands of hours of racing conditions, but in case you do manage to get glass or rocks in the Race Pump, it is factory rebuildable.
The Race Pump routes the fuel lines up and behind the front or the engine for a much neater installation. Plus, It looks GREAT!
